Today we we were learning about NZSL ( New zealand  sign language ) everyone in my class has learned to say our name and our age in sign language we all did a video together and its on the class blog. Our teacher has shown us the New zealand sign language dictionary and here is the video of me saying my name and my age.

Just know we were just given chocolate because my reading group read a book about chocolate.The chocolate was amazing by the way. The book we were reading about was fair trade chocolate which is a company that pays the chocolate farmers a fair living a mount of money.Doing this research I found out that most chocolate companys don’t get payed enough for how much work they do.

My poster Today we did our presitaions for our 3D posters I had a hexagonal prism for my shape.

Yesterday we had a a show and there was these two people called Cat and Willie. Willie was really funny, Cat was telling a story about  her daughter Alexis. After they did their act they brought some of our teachers on stage and they got all dressed up in beautiful coustumes. After the play we had some food. we went to the bottom feild and splited in 8 groups and then we all went to our activities there was ice blocks, huge connect four, four legged race this tarp thing and sack races oh and this moari ora game.

This was all posible because of rotary!

This week i’m doing my blog post about one of my matariki one of the activities I have chosen for this week was to do a collarge about my goals, my family and my passions. We have done a lot of very detailed colouring and a lot of  learing around matariki.

Right now we are also learning a lt about shapes we are making poster that we have present in front of the class i’m doing  an octagon jujst because I thought would be really easy and it is, we’ve been doing a lot of research and i have learnt so much more about an octagon. Like an octagpon is a chiniese symbol for good luck and completness.

Camp was really fun we did heaps of activities and I even went somewhere where I have never gone before like the Kape. On the first day we were split into five groups there was the water slide, slippery hockey, gaga ball, obsicale course and kayaking, then in the evening we went to the beach for a swim and a walk.

On the second day we got on the bus and started driving to thye kape it actually felt like a really short trip if i’m being honest it was boring n the way back we had sandwhiches and baking we played soccer and batdown oh and bullrush at a lake near bye then we went tlo the beach and finally we went back to camp.

On the last day we went to taipa and had a water day we went sailing, pandel bourding and we jumped of the wharf I was atceally pretty proud of myself because I have a huge fear water and boats but I ended up doing it.

CIRCUS

Yesterday was our big prformance im not going to lie it was a bit boring but I did like prforming our show was around 2 hours long, we were all in miss matched costumes and had crazy face paint on. My favourite part of the circus was most probably the dress that I wore especially when I spun around every one in my preformance grouphad matching face paint but in all different colours.

DISCO

Yesterday was als the disco it was really fun. There were soda,baked goods,ice lollys and hot dogs there was god music and great dancers.

TECH:

In our last tech day of trhe term I finally finished my artist study I had frida kahlo and I know I said this in my last blog but I love frida kahlo like after I learnt more about her I relised how amazing she is I drew one of her piture but in my style so I drew a portrait of me with heaps of flowers and bright colours. i’ve loved tech this term I wonder what it will be like next term also im so exited for camp!

CIRCUS :

Next week is our big circus preformance im scared but kind of exited also if you didn’t already know im doing a big bfan preformance.

3 weeks untill big preformance ok I have finally figgurd out what I want to do for circus that thing that im doing .Im doing fans with Thea, Pia,Rangitamoe and Rose its this kind of illusion and then at the end Thea is doing some michal jackson move at the end while pia and I are spinning in the corners and guess what my group are going to the people who close the show so ya im exited and happy because at the start I didn’t even want to do something but then i Whaea Sarah said that I had to do something but im not worried anymore because im at the back of the preformance.
